At Land & Sea, we’re passionate about food with most of our signature experiences centred around it. We embrace traditional methods like cooking over fire, pickling, fermentation, and foraging to showcase the freshest local and seasonal ingredients. As a farming family, supporting local suppliers and using what’s in season is key to what we do.
While we strive to be inclusive, our dining style and the nature of our events require us to be clear about our limitations in catering to dietary needs. To ensure transparency and avoid disappointment, please review our dietary policy.
FOOD EXPERIENCES BY LAND & SEA

All of our food experiences offer a set menu. We always provide a vegetarian option, but this must be communicated at the time of ticket purchase.

Due to the small scale of our events and our open-air kitchen, we do not cater to vegans or guarantee allergen-free meals. If you have allergies, please contact us directly before booking, as it’s possible your allergen may not appear on the menu for a particular event. We’d love to welcome you if we can.

Our menus are designed to celebrate seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. We encourage guests to embrace new and uncommon flavors, often featuring foraged ingredients and game you may not find in the supermarket. Many guests, initially hesitant, end up enjoying these unique dishes!
PRIVATE + CORPORATE BOOKINGS

For private events, we can accommodate some dietary needs, but these must be communicated to our chefs at least 3 weeks in advance. When designing your menu, we recommend focusing on true allergies and dietary requirements, as excessive restrictions can limit the culinary experience.

Individuals with severe food allergies must specify the severity to ensure proper notification to our catering team for health and safety reasons.

Food Intolerances - Please provide specific details about food intolerances so we can adjust the menu accordingly. It’s important to be clear—if you avoid eggs but can eat dairy, please don't classify yourself as vegan, as this affects the planning for other meals and other guests.

Our food philosophy is to promote whole foods that are as close to nature as possible. We believe that using dietary substitutes compromises the quality of our menus, as these substitutes often consist of highly processed ingredients. Therefore, we strive to minimise ingredient alterations where feasible.

We understand that dietary needs may change over time and aim to be as inclusive as possible. However, we request consideration for our chefs if your dietary requests are occasional, as preparing separate meals and sourcing specific ingredients can increase expenses and contribute to food waste, which we strive to minimise.

We are unable to accommodate certain dietary regimes like ketogenic, FODMAP, paleo, etc. However, we’re happy to discuss individual needs to explore possible accommodations.

Please communicate any dietary requests no later than 7 days before your event. Requests made after this may be difficult to accommodate.

PRODUCERS

We frequently hire our space to groups and organisations who provide their own food and catering. Please note that they operate a different dietary policy to Land + Sea so always check directly with the event organiser.
